You shone the brightest, the hardest, like a
diamond hidden under the leaves.
You took me through the highs, the lows
you kept me going, you made me fight
I love you as my brother, you made me complete
the world is darker and a sadder place
Knowing my next day will be without you, forever
burned into my soul is unbearable and unforgiving.
My life is less complete without you my friend
my life worse because you are not there
Your laugh your smile, making me feel life to the
full
My heart is broken as I think of you.
I miss you already my brother for 30 years you kept me safe and free from harm.
I love you my brother, my friend.

Heartfelt sympathy to you...it is always hard to lose someone, but for most losing someone around this time of year is even harder. May you be able to remember all of the good times you shared together and even some of the times that while going through them was difficult, looking back and seeing how strong they made you both.
