Description

Here you can see the Glastonbury Tor taken from my bedroom window with a 300mm telescopic lens and hand held, thus the slight shake. The Tor is 20 to 30 miles away to the north of Chard and the whole area is full of legend and folklore. (Info can be found in your search engine). In the immediate foreground is a part of Chard and in the middle is part of Ilminster our neighbouring town which is 6 miles away. Happy Christmas to all.

Thanks for posting this. It's hard to conceive the Tor is 30 miles away. I'm soon delving into the traditions of Glostonbury, which I find very interesting, indeed! Which is why I find this photo so interesting.

I've been to Glastonbury Tor. It was a day of heavy overcast skies, which was a very good mood to visit it in. Beautiful view and capture. I like the way the clouds above Glastonbury Tor mimic its shape.
