Description
I wanted to make a rose for all of us. I learned how difficult is to do it... Because i wanted to reach the *silk touch* and the *velvet touch* and all the tones of rose and the more that roses have.... One flower has so much its own...and was not a question of time...i did her, along some good time…...even so, is not what i wanted to offer to ALL OF US! I wanted more than this. Flowers are like persons, at last! They have so much in its own and each time we look we discover more and more and always different!! However, here it is, and in my mind, while doing this, i had *All* that are here and the others that are not anymore between us, and All, are so missed here and in my heart. I want to offer MY ROSE, also to them.
To ALL OF US, i want to send much health, peace,love,joy,art and ALLL the more!!!

OHHH Ana! I just love that rose. You really maneged to make it look soft and silky and gentle and I so LUV, when I can see the white strokes of the pencil. Ana, you did it BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!!!!!! I wish you and yours just as much love and health and peace and creativity.

you caught the gentle definition of the petals & leaves, yet you have total softness in both. The flower is defined but it's also like a dream. Just beautiful. Like Andrea, I too struggle with roses. But you captured the rose's sumptuous folds like you'd been painting them all your life. Beautiful gentle reds & pinks & whites. And wonderful mix between some very delicate shading and your rapid 'hatch' lines: A wonderful mix of careful painting & spontaneous drawing. Such a lovely vision for the holiday, and for those who have passed in the last year or two. This is yet another piece by you that leaves your viewer thinking, "so THIS is what great art is supposed to look like!" Beautiful, and your sentiment is wholly right.
