Description

My son and me was looking at the Christmas lights with my grandson. My grandson loves the lights. We drove in front of the rich man house with the cop car parked across the street 24/7. I told my son to stop for a little bit and do not worry about the car behind him intill he hork his horn. My grandson eyes was glue to the lights in that yard and I heard a "HO HO HO" toward the cop car. I looked and saw Santa comeing towards us and I tried to get my grandson to look but his eyes was on the lights. I then grap my grandson head and turn it toward Santas and when he saw sante he was jumping up and down in his seat even thought he was buckly up in a baby chair. he was so excided to see him. I just got two photos of Santa and a not too good shot of my grandson excided . This is the best of Santa I got. santa give my grandson a candy cane and he was trying to eat it with the plaste on. Santa did try to get my grandson to talk but he just sit there looking at him with big eyes. we then went down the road and turn around to look at the lights again and I was sirpire to see santa was gone. My grand son was still talking about Santa the next day. this is a night shot with no flash. I like the phot as all you see him waveing and a little out of focus as he moves. it like he there one second then gone

Wonderful image and story of a child's delight! I'm sure Santa loved it to, seeing the excitement on your grandson's face. I like the part where he tried to eat the candy cane with the plastic still on it. He probably didn't even notice, which captures the wonder and excitement that he was feeling. Thanks for sharing your grandson's joy and excitement. The image is great. It has a mystery that is part of the tale, and a festive air in the expression and lighting. Merry Christmas!

It's always really hard to get photos of the real Santa! ;) And I'm sure your grandson believes so. Wonderful capture! Merry Christmas to you and yours! :D

Santa is a big elf and is very hard to photograph. He disappears with magic dust when adults are around so you are very lucky to have gotten this shot. It is really perfect when you think about his ability to hide... :-) Merry Christmas, dear friend.
