Description
A few years back, I went to Coney Island to see a ride called The Parachute Jump. It had been closed down by then, but was still a very cool landmark. I don't know if it still stands or not. I had a poster of it on my wall as a kid and vowed to one day go and see it in the flesh!
This version is obviously much smaller, but still looked heaps of fun for the young kids who went up and down on it. It's at the historic Luna Park in Australia. Best viewed zooooomed.

Great shot, you really caught tons of detail in their faces!!

Nice human interest shot Andrew... Coney Island's Parachute Jump still stands and has been fancied up by the City of New York...I rode it as an 8 or 9 year old...safe but scary being strapped into a canvas seat with nothing but space under my feet from 0 to 250 feet in the air. Here's the WIKI

A super shot, but those rides are not for me!

Nor me! Well I love the fast ones like the coasters, but I hate the ones that spin me around and make me sick!

Wonderful capture of the fun! I doubt very highly that I would ever get on one of these...

Ah! Yes! We have something very very much like this that comes to the Stamford Fair once a year! And NO! I have not and will not be going it! Seen too many technicolour yawns from one of these to try it! lol (Just think beer and violent movement.....you get the idea!) Great shot mate! Rob

Cool pic - love the looks on the kids faces and the color composition - I'll leave this to you as I would probably lose my lunch if I tried it!
