it's always sad to come to an upload for someone passed...I know Kasalin's work and have always admired it, even if I've only commented on it too seldom. And I"m very sorry to read, here of her loss. (I lost my father about 3 months later, I can sympathize.) You couldn't have given a more exquisite piece, along with your very caring words, Flavia. (Whenever I visit your photography, I'm reminded how good you are.) This collection of flowers has such vivid presence, the sharpness of detail on the stamens & petals, the detail on the stems (with the tiny burrs and hairs), the light---some of the leaves are almost white with light---and the beautiful outlay of the flowers in front of us...a beautifully broad showing of flowers for someone who was in deep loss. A beautiful dedi and photo, and with your often-felt sense of celebration and vivid hue (I've seen that in a number of your photos). Beautiful job, for a very sad moment. Very touching.
