Description

This is the first thing I've produced using the new shave and a haircut plugin. I still haven't quite got the hang of how the shadows/lighting tags work yet. This is a test render for a series of illustrations I'm currently working on (sorry can't be more specific yet WIP)

I think it will turn out to be very useful, trouble is that it complicates scenes even further as you have to add an environment object and extra lights with tags in order to see render the fur with shadows. There's a lot of extra things you have to remember to include in order for the hairs to render properly and without a realtime preview it's easy to forget a tag and waste ages rendering a scene with hair that is blacked out. I am not sure how it will combine with pyro objects in the same scene.

Great Img. even if it is a test.I won't be able to try as there is no trial available of shave for C4D. P..: www.prayorpanic.com

Haven't seen a can opener like that in ages. This is definitely cool, Man-Ray would be proud!
