Description

Me and my wife visited Rietvleie Nature Reserve Yesterday. Here is a picture of a Breeding Long Tailed Widow male that I share with you. The sky was covered with Grey clouds with no sun visible. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-tailed_Widowbird The Long-tailed Widowbird (Euplectes progne) is a species of bird in the Ploceidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zambia.

I have only seen this in the wild once! My dude was very busy and never sat still for a split second! Needless to say that I got a whole lot of very blurred images! This is great despite the blade of grass infront of it! Well caught Christo!
