Description

This is a high kitchen window, the plants are looking out over a snowy winter landscape. On the left is a lavender plant I bought as fall started and meant to set out but waited too long. On the right are some Tommy Toe Tomato plants my sis grew from seed and gave to me mid-summer. It was very late in the season, I set out half of them and these are the rest. The ones I set out didn't have enough time to set fruit but I am hoping to get these through the winter to set out in late April and we WILL have our tiny tomatoes! Happy and Safe Holiday Wishes to All~

Very pretty shot!! Now is the time that I pray over my plants, LOL!! I have to very large Christmas cacti that I put out on the front step in the late spring and they stay out there until the first frost, totally ignored. I don't water them or anything...and they do WONDERFULLY. I also have one pot of ivy that was rooted from my wedding bouquet 23 years ago. I used to have six pots of it, but am down to one now....sigh. You are talking to a person who manage to kill a little cactus...yep, a cactus! I ignored it and only watered it about once a month when I gave it a tiny bit of water...yeah, it lasted about a year...and then died, LOL!!!!
