Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Your photography is really starting to 'bridge' the gap and 'span' the generations! It looks like a good place to go bungee jumping if that's your thing.

Really great POV. Well done.

LOL! Glad to hear you're practicing safe photography! Bungee jumping, now there's an idea--think of the POV you could get! Excellent shot here!

Fantastic shot! I've watched some of the Discovery Station's documentaries on this bridge, very cool

Dam, that's a terrific POV you had there in this stellar shot of the bridge thing, Marilyn! Stellar lighting and geometric shapes in this one. And, bridging the gap is what the dentist says to me when working on my teeth.

The architecture is just right for the location. What a great bridge!

nice capture, great pov

Designers and builders had one heck of a challenge. Which will last longer, the dam or the bridge? Think I read somewhere that the dam is good for 700 years! Wonder what type of power we'll be using in 2710???

Great looking bridge very nice capture!!

Great shot!

Nice shot but think about it - you are once again under a bridge, bigger than a pier, and no waves or pilings either. But there is plenty of water under this bridge. Dana
