Description

Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop The last image for 2010! Figure is David base and morphs, with Men Of The Year skin mat,Andromeda-6:Starbrigade Elite outfit and Uzilite pistol(all from Daz3D and posed in DazStudio).Cave is composed of seven terrains, all custom creations, textured in a modified bryce terrain texture.Stalagmites and stalactites are lattices. The ship in the background is a bryce model, the alien bugs are poseable bryce lattice models. The light coming into the cave is a cylinder rendered in a modified Light Rays texture, grouped with a spotlight with soft shadows and low falloff.A light was added to the helmet, and a stretched cone in another modified Light Rays mat provided the spotlight.Sun was disabled, and sky, light and atmo are all custom.Water is a modified Raindrops water mat, simulating water droplets falling from the cave roof.Rendered at this size in Superfine, and took 15 hours due to the transparent water and volumetrics.Post in Photoshop included falling droplets, additional drops of moisture on foreground area by bugs,a slight levels adjustment and signature. Thanks for taking the time to view, and any comments you wish to leave! A very Happy New Year to everyone at Renderosity, and all the best for the New Year!

Excellent work! I didn't notice the spaceship or the bugs (I thought they were vegetation) until I read your description, but fantastic work on the lighting. Love the guy's shadow. I'm sure the lights added to the render time too. Happy New year!

You are the king. Still trying to dig out as per the thing I mentioned-got slammed this month with a few surprise expenses but will follow through the minute I'm able. Thanks. Ferguson has some proposals per project and Lawrence is supposed to be running something by me today. Will forward.
