Dear friends,
five and a half hours, and 2010 is history, and the first decade of the 21. century is history, too!
This were very turbulent 10 years, and a lot of sad things happen, too. But now a new decade begins, time to look forward and with hope for better days.
I wish all of you a Happy New Year from Berlin!

There it goes.. away on the night train.. it was perhaps unlike 2000 and 1989 and 1966 and 1945 and 1929 and 1918 and 1900 and... other important years... but it will be remembered.. Pffff as soon as it is history.. it could aswell be 10.000 years ago... out of the agenda.. out of the station.... for some it is already 2011.. they know how it is.. we still have to wait hours make it a good year a year of joy, love and happynes.. full of health and creativity

Great shot. I am wondering why there are no wires on the track closest to us. Is there a third rail perhaps?

I loved trains as a kid and still like to check out the old steam engines. Beautiful winter scene. Dana
