Description
This is a drawing I made from a Photo of Ana.
It is my first attempt with oil based Colored Pencils. I had to try with Anas Portrait. Ana is so pretty both inside and outside.
Ana this is for you and I think I made a decent work :) Happy New Year to you and your family.

Hello Helle, First a very good year to all and may this year your wishes come true, in the way they are allowed to. What a great portrait of Ana, and just as you say it: nice in- and outside! IT IS ANA the way I learned to know her. I'm always so lost for words if I see such an art work. So real and so fine. I think it must have been a nice time in the old ages when portraits were made by hand instead of camerea work. And what a great artist these people were. And so happy surprised to see there are still great portrait artists like that. Like you Helle and Ana herself. GREAT and so shining. Ana must be very proud. Love and peace, Cat

Congratulations on 1500 Helle! Looking forward to many many more! This is an absolutely gorgeous portrait! I have an old Gibson Girl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_Girl) drawing that this reminded me of. I see the same beautiful femininity in this. I don't know her but she is really lovely! Helle, this is superb! I don't know Ana, but you have captured her beauty inside and out. I love the shading and colors of her skin tones and the sweetness and mischief in her expression. Wonderful drawing of the hair. You have not overwhelmed it with too many lines. It looks soft and natural. Congratulations on 1500! This is a beautiful way to celebrate! A Very Happy New Year to You!

I intended to comment on this, and then Corey called, and so I ran my mouth with him, and totally forgot to make a comment. Well, now I am back at this picture, and it feels exactly the same way it felt when I first saw it. I'm amazed at the delicate beauty of it. You're such a fantastic artist, and so it's not surprising that you'd do something gorgeous like this. I don't draw well at all...unless it's fake ancient Egyptian stuff, and I always admire those with the ability to draw. This ranks up there with the finest portraits I've seen and WOW! How perfect. This is a perfect way to celebrate 1500 posts, and judging by this, I DEFINITELY look forward to seeing at least 1500 more! This is super and a truly beautiful celebration of the new year, new posts, and friendships found in the wacky world of Renderosity! This is perfect!
