Description
Scheveningen (NL) is a twintown of The Hague.
Late December moist air from the North Sea was drifting towards land and colliding with the relatively cold air above land causing this mist.
Lucky me was on the Scheveningen pier to catch this stunning scene.
In the background, in the middle, the famous Hotel Kurhaus is visible.

Fraai.. Zag hetzelfde bij Noordwijk vorige week.. vroeg me af wat het was... hele witte mist in de verte...(gezien vanaf Scheveningen) nu weet ik het... dank

The weather looks very simular to what I experienced one year ago on the same spot. I also took some pictures there. To be honest with you. I think in this picture the fore ground plays a big role, but there is not much to see there.The midzone of this picture is almost empty and the buildings in the distance are too far away to play an important role in this picture. It really would have been different when the midzone would show more exciting things to look at.

great shot! a very special moment it is you've captured. especially with the sun in the topcorner! ik houd wel van scheveningen, vroeger liep ik vaak van kijkduin naar scheveningen en weer terug met mijn ouders en broertje. misschien moet ik dat ik de toekomst maar weer eens doen... maar dan wel als het warmer is!
