Description

In the hidden jungle temple the new Queen of the Dragon Riders must show her worth by calling forth her dragon companion from the netherworld. If she should fail this task she would immediately be shown as unworthy and cast into the pits of a nearby volcano as sacrifice to the Obsidian Dragons. Alanara is mesmorized when one of the fiercest of all dragon kind answers her call. Alanara's companion is none other than an Obsidian dragon from the fires of the molten lava pit. She will definately be a queen that will be feared for only the strong of will have been able to have such a fierce beast answer their call. Here's the first pic of 2011. I got a lot of great "dragon" stuff the other day with a coupon. My one problem with the millenium dragon 2.0 was that it had no nice skins. I got some here for the subdragon which made it look much nicer, but now I have some for my big dragon. I have to say I'm most impressed with the way the armor (Drago from DAZ) and the skin (millenium dragon textures from DAZ) look in this picture. I am not disappointed at all! The outfit is some of DMs new stuff at DAZ. Totem Tales I think. I also used DMs dragonport. Added post work with a bunch of different brushes. Ron's Steam and Smoke, a free fog background, and flux brushes/energy orbs. The actual character is vermillion dawn from DAZ. The hair is Caleb hair from DAZ. I rendered this with some "poser" light sets in Studio. I have found that DS3A can use many of my Poser lights. Not quite the same effect, BUT they do cut down on my render time and they do look great when I combine them with AdamWright's art actions. I have too many to remember all that I click, so I would suggest just buying his packages! Hope everyone has had a great start to a new year. Back to work for me on Monday (cry).
