Decided to try and replicate a scene from Tron Legacy.....added explosion affects, flares, soft glow and a tiny bit of sparkle affects in Gimp to finish it off....please click for sharper image....enjoy....:)

its great. i have been trying to do reflections and nice materials but I can never get it right.

Renmmk-reflections are far more realistic looking when you render your scene using the Reality plug in, but if you place your settings too high, it can cause a lot of noise, or, as we call them, fireflies, which take much longer to render out.....I'm currently waiting for the new Reality release to come out, which will apparently have even more and better material settings.....judging from your wonderful renders, you seem to have mastered skin textures better than I....;)
