Description
Lens still on macro.This Dragonfly was hovering about a meter above the water. I would have liked the body and face to be a bit sharper in focus. What is your thoughts on this capture?

I like the wing blur but perhaps a bit less, maybe 1/320 s or 1/500 s. It is very hard to get a focus lock on these guys, for each one I get in focus I throw about 150 away. Keep taking lots and lots of shots. Well done on this one! I have learned that many of these fly against a slight breeze, picking off small insects swept along in the air, and they often circle back and follow the same track many times if the breeze is slight. Perhaps that might help you a bit.
