Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. Today's image is a zoom in from a very different angle and slight formula alteration from yesterday's Easter Egg image. What I find amazing is how close the simularity this bulb shows to the Sylvan bulb posted by Stan (Abysimus) yesterday. The POV is different but the structure is very simular and his is totally created in Ultra Fractal where mine is from MB3D. thumb_2154043.jpg
I always find it amazing how Stan is able to do MB3D style work with UF, I am very very familar with using UF but have never acheived those kinds of results. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Yesterday's image: thumb_2154011.jpg

Yes Stan Does Amazing things with his art, and math. LOL I do not have UF, I pull mine out of XaoS, and an older version of APO. I have tried a few others without much success. Very intricate image you have today. :)

Same Base formula, thank you Benoit Mandelbrot, Mandelbulbs-Mandelboxes, it's a numbers game. I don't pretend to understand the Math but the relationships are unmistakable. Splendid Bulbwork Peace

I love your beautiful gems and I guess the similarity comes about as all fractals [I think] come from the mandelbrot formula. I am always amazed at the variety that can be achieved.

Many thanks for the honorable mention, Jim. This does indeed have very clear jewel-like qualities and I am particularly struck by the central region. This rendering has much more sharply focused features than most MB3D images I have seen and I like the reality effect. As an aside, I am curious if MB3D has the capability of zoom without morphing the image. I mention this because your image has a butterfly/moth at 3 o'clock far right and 9 o'clock far left that might look spectacular on zoom. Just a thought. As always, superb work, my friend.
