THIS IS A W.I.P and not a final version... Many aircraft have been modeled over the years by countless individuals with military types being the favoured choice. Not to be one to break with tradition, I wanted to make a model based on an old work horse of many countries, The C-130 Hercules. This is no ordinary C-130. It is one of the deadliest planes flying around. Here is my version of an AC-130U Spooky II Gunship based on photos I have downloaded. I took a bit of liberty here and there, but it is pretty close to the actual plane. There are a few more things to add like accessories and a cockpit. Eventually, it will be made into a Poser model for future use by me. :) It can easily be downgraded back to a regular C-130 cargo plane by changing the fuselage to one without the gun ports and removing all the sensors. I think it is going well so far, so I wanted to show you my effort. The AC-130U is modeled in Anim8or and the pix were shown in a wire frame format to give you an idea of what the unsmoothed model looks like. It has a decent amount of detail ?
