Tallahassee Museum and Zoo
Reconstructed early 18 hundreds, middle class housing. No plumbing, no electric, no cable and no phone. Just a fire place or potbelly stove to cook and heat.

gasp NO CABLE? how ever did people live???? LOL...we take so much for granted these days. Like central heating!! But I guess if you've never known it, it would be easier doing without it. I actually love seeing pics like this to see how our ancestors lived. It was a hard life, but they also had fun and families were a lot closer. Nice shot

I think I could survive without a lot of that, but no plumbing now thats old school for sure.. :) I think we should all have to live like that for a week to see that some of us could live and even survive with a little less.
