Description

Ok, I've not forgotten about this one. Just put it on the back burner due you know, real life work. But this is as far as I've gotten to this point. I'm still working on the interiors and landing gear. That is where I left off at. Hopefully in the next couple of days I'll get back into the swing with it and have it ready for load here soon.

Lovely model. One thought though, if it's for deep space why is it so aerodynamic?

Well, because it's based on the 1968 Planet of the apes space capsule Icarus 56 which was suppose to be essentially the nose piece cone of the entire craft.

Lets check the seals on the sleep chambers ahead of time.....I would have liked to see what trouble a woman could have gotten into in the 1968 version of Planet of The Apes. Clever work....look forward to seeing it complete. While we are on the subject how do you think those 3 apes could re-launch that ship with no fuel no training no launch platform and a fear of paper airplanes equal to their fear of the 200 feet of water it was resting in? Beginners luck I guess ;^)
