Description
The Island on the right I named Rookery Island - The nests in the trees are Heron nests - I spent about a month last summer - Beginning in early spring and ending in the fall trying to document the event - I was some what successful in that I was able to photograph all the way to the hatching of the eggs - The down side was my equipment was not up for the task - also this was my first experience at such a long term commitment - I plan to return here in the spring better prepared !
