Description

Marymere Falls, about a 90 foot (27.5 meters) drop, is a short hike into Olympic National park, Washington, USA. I have never seen so much moss growing in one place. It must rain everyday out there. Had to be in the late 1980’s and recently scanned. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Wow, think of all the water that has gone over the falls since you took this photo 31 years ago! It is wet, wet, wet in there. Nice shot Dana.

That is one long plunge, if this fantastic foto is any indication, Dana, with sterling clarity and texture. And that is one impressive expanse of moss.

A very pretty little waterfall, although I guess 90 feet isn't very little but it is just that it looks so snug tucked into this rock. I love all the moss.

Lovely, and I think it might just rain almost every day over there--it is a rainforest, after all! Great capture!
