I can feel the sharpness, of the line, i walk, between me, and nothingness. it doesn't feel right in my head don't even feel like myself, i see my mouth moving, but it's not me, not really, I retreat, further away from anything that makes me give a damn, until i can feel that sharpness like a blade, cold and sharp on my feet, I know, a few more steps, and there, there won't be a Me anymore. It doesn't frighten me, that tells me how just how far I am in, makes me reach, desperately, for a reason to hold on. friends try, to placate me with their words, wrap their arms around me, and some of it works. in my head, the little doubting cry, that everything they say, is a lie. so I battle with the demons, and cry myself to sleep, hoping a bit of sunshine, will break the spell, before I fall too deep. ~ W.Dubord.
