Snow, snow, snow. Cold, cold, cold. Thankfully not much wind, and thankfully only a wee bit of snow each day, just enough to keep the world looking clean and white. But that's winter here, cold and snow. Such a wonderful reminder that the world will thaw out, and the sun will shine with warmth, and the trees will bloom, and the bugs will be back! A marvelous and beautiful reminder!

This is the perfect promise of warmer days ahead! It's beautiful--for that and for many, many other reasons. I love the little model you've captured as well, a rather hungry little fly, judging by that abdomen, but gorgeous nonetheless. This is a little marvel and I love the overall composition.

It is interesting to come back into someone's gallery to a time of ice and snow (not that we get a lot of that in our coldest hours) while we are caught in the grip of a heat wave and drought of record making proportions. Beautiful flower of exquisite delicacy with a nicely caught visitor. Lovely color, detail, and light! Excellent capture!
