Description
This was my image for the Holiday Contest....
My Perfect Holiday would be to have Santa teach me everything there is to know about poser - AND - how to make it come to life... Oh, and make me a kid again.
- Santa, Christmas, Poser and playing with dolls when I was a kid inspired me to create this.
- I used poser6 and Photo Explosion to put this idea together.
- It took me a good two weeks to finally get it together. Most of that time was looking for files - lol

ABOUT THE IMAGE.... YOU'VE PROBABLY NOTICED THE POSER SCREEN IS BACKWARD - IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE - YOU ARE INSIDE THE COMPUTER/POSER AS A POSER LOOKING OUT AS SANTA DOES HIS MAGIC AND TEACH'S THESE KIDS HOW TO DO POSER IN MEGA SECONDS INSTEAD OF YEARS - LOL

SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND, I'm still dealing with moving Johnny's things and the drama still goes on. My front room has become a storage area and everything in Johnny's apartment has been removed EXCEPT a huge, heavy Entertainment Center. It's gorgeous, I helped Johnny put it in his second floor apartment, but with it so heavy and me healing from the hernia, I just might have to leave it there. I've tried to sell it with no response, I'm now trying to give it away. I bet this item went for over a grand brand new. I had funiture dealers look at it and tell me they're just not selling anymore because flatscreen tvs can be hung on a wall. I was supose to get a call from 2 different people interested in it by 4 and now it's almost 5.
Johnny's Autopsy showed he had a bad heart... toxicalligy won't be back for a few more weeks.
....just got a call, I think I'm getting rid of the entertainment center.
I'm still on break, just got too much going on...
I miss you people and your artwork.
hope you're all having the best year ever.

Very beautiful image and well-crafted idea! Were that it was true that we could learn the programs very quickly. I fully understand the situation with all that is going on. I wish you and Holly the very best and I hope that 2011 will be better for both of you.

A really cute idea! I'm sorry about Johny, and I have no advice on grieving. Heck, when one of our dogs died (Chaos) years ago it was three years before I quit tearing up every time I though of her. Good luck with that and with your hernia healing - the doctors always say that recovery will take a shorter time than it really does. I'm sorry about the entertainment center. I remember having to give up a lemon-wood hi-fi that was given to my mother when she was around 28 or so by my father. The exterior was wonderful and given some time I could have gotten rid of most of the old equipment and made it into a retro-modern entertainment center. Unfortunately I couldn't move the thing from my parent's house when I got married and moved here to the middle of nowhere. :( And yes, I do look forward to you and your quirky sense of humor posting again.

lay down and relax a bit your body needs it.. went to the doc myself today.. had a complete check up... i am healthy.. but no more alcohol for at least 3 months.. as there is something strange in the results.. that had the doc wonder.. well.. with all the toxic in the air and water since yesterday... who cares about a bit of alcohol.. will drink A LOT on 11-1-11 (11 january).. but than pause for the 3 months.. and drink only water... yikes...

Sorry about Johnny....I lost a dear friend named Johnny about a year myself. We had to get rid of one of those entertainment units ourselves. Unfortunately we knew no one was going to buy it. So we pushed it outside to the curb and prayed someone would come along the middle of the night and whisk it away. Well the only ones who came were the homeowners association and fined us for having something old and ugly outside overnight. I told them "Hey I swear that wasn't me out there...lol" Anyways we did the next best thing we could...took a couple of wrecking hammers to it. It sucked doing that! : (

I knew what I was looking at the moment I saw it as far as inside looking out....Excellent idea and scene...Turned out pretty cool!..Totally understanding that "life" comes 1st before recreation/creating...we'll be here..do what needs to be done...your seat will be kept warm...(Smile)

excellent piecing together,but the most important i guess to all of us is that you show a sign of life.you have been away too long bro. maybe getting more in the art will help you,channelling the feelings in a way,it sure helped ute in her grief. i dont know what words to use because all sounds lame if you know what i mean. keep it up and be safe.greets to your wife from spain man.

I still break out in a sweat when I try to use Poser. Almost posted and image but deleted it. Could have used Santa's help. LOL. You take care of yourself. Don't do anything that will hurt your insides.. Great image :)

Great idea Mike, and I hope you snag something good in the contest. Personally, If that stuff became real it would be weird. There'd be all these mini-people running around everywhere's gettin' into stuff, and the Mil Dragon would steal your change (and good luck getting that back)! Take your time and do what you need to do.
