Description

Finally rendered something with TG2 worth posting. Only took a couple of years!! Everything done here was on purpose believe it or not. I want to thank Bob, aka. choronr,, for his awesome renders that have inspired me to get back into Terragen. Post work done in Photoshop includes: Duplicate layer set to soft light Duplicate layer set to soft light and a high pass filter with a 3.5 radius. Levels adjustment layer for the final tweak. Critical comments welcome...

Nice alpine mountains. One suggestion: You might want to try changing the green color to more of an 'olive green'. This is based on your light position.

Great mountains, and I like the atmosphere. I like the post-work you did; the contrast makes for an eye-catching scene. Nice work!

Thanks all for the comments. The green was one thing that I wasn't real happy with. Toned it down with a darker color of green on top trying to do so but wrote it off as spring colors since it is the next season and anything darker would bllend in with the shadows and not stand out. Did not think of an olive color so thanks Bob, I will keep it in mind for the next render.
