Description
The tracks on the left take you into an allotment field. This field has, many years ago, been turned into garden plots so that the people of Chard can rent one and grow their vegetables and flowers. I rent one of these and I too grow many of my veggies.
This lane is near the beginning of our walk and it is so named after a little village that can be reached along the way.

I think you will just grow ice cubes for now. best wait to spring time to grow food. just a joke but the image do look surreal.

Ah! Allotments! Those were the days! Where most working class folk all had allotments and much of the country grew their own food, so negating the need to import! Down here they are beginning to wake up to the fact that these much sort after little plots can work wonders, not only for the health of those digging them, but for the fabulous food they produce and the councils are starting to rent out land for new allotments! Fabulous shot and may all your veggies grow well! ^=^
