Description

took this the other night the same time as the first sunset.usually "sun dogs" are far away but this one was relative near. it only lasted for 3 captures within 2 minutes thanks for stopping in and any comments are appreciated

Great capture of this phenomenon ! Sun dogs are reflections of the Sun in ice crystals in the air, normally symmetric of both sides of the Sun when it is low in the sky. Sometimes it can even look like three Suns on the sky on the same time.
