Description

I came across this photo in my Lightroom, and thought I'd add it to my gallery. I like the warm lighting in this one; it was taken a couple of years ago - June 24, 2008, at 5:53:46pm to be exact, according to the metadata. Love how all that data is captured and saved in an image! :) I was amazed at the response I got in my previous upload, Sunset in Delano. It was such a lovely site, when I saw the sun going down, and all I had with me was the camera on my phone. It turned out surprisingly well. :) I hope you all have had a good start to the new year. I was initially laid off from my job Dec 30th, but then I was offered an extension, to work until "Fall 2011". Of course, I accepted. With todays economy, I'd be a fool not to. A very interesting image. Light is the most important subject to any photographer or artist. Glad you get to keep your job for a while at least. The only thing worse than car hunting (which I'm doing right now) is job hunting.

Very warm and simplist, has a nice art quality to it. Keep positive on the job market, it can be a whole different picture in 8 or 9 months.

I really like this! I happen to have a real interest in light fixtures (but it's hard for other people to see since I post so many bugs...but that's just me.) This is really beautifully seen and I love the warm color and the presence of stone; it adds a sense of warmth and age to this image that I like a lot. This is fantastic. Great work, and I hope the new year is a good one for you too!
