Description

Another one for Cath... This is M4 with the Homo erectus morph turned down a bit to 0.600, the chin receded, the nose flattened & widened and a few other tweaks. I think he makes a very convincing, believable Neanderthal Man ( ...from Homo erectus to Homo neanderthalensis - evolution at work). I would have liked to use Mec4D's 'Old Man' texture but I did not want him to be clean shaven for this render, I'm not (see avatar) so why should my great, great, great, etc, etc. Grandfather be? :-) ; and my favorite older man M4 texture, Cath's Dr. Grand, is much too urbane, neat and elegant. Instead, I used one of Elsina's excellent 'Grandmaster' textures (here at Rendo) which, I think, suits him just fine. The garment he is wearing is the free OptiTex dynamic DAZ|Studio M4 Rain Poncho converted for use in Poser and the texture on it is one of Traveler's (RDNA) free fur textures with lots of twiddling of the displacement settings and other parameters. I wish there was a Poser auroch, or at least a wisent, to populate that forest - although the North American bison (DAZ3D) could do as a stand-in for the wisent... Rendered in PoserPro with some post-work in PhotoShop. I hope you like it. Comments and criticisms are always welcome. Thank you for viewing... Walter
