Description
This is a photo taken of a wild turkey that likes to stay in our yard. We feed him corn and sunflower seeds. They were introduced here by the DNR a few years back. He does not have much fear of humans.

Oh wow! What a unique animal to find roaming around, taking a stroll in one's yard! Such a beautiful litle guy too! Marvellous capture of texture and colour! Seems like it's so cold out, I wonder how they surive such cold!! Lovely image!

Nice shot of a beautiful male turkey! We have LOTS around our area here in New Hampshire. From what I was told, the one time governor of New Hampshire traded some wild turkeys to North Carolina for some Fisher Cats...well, we surely have TONS of turkeys still...and quite a few mean and nasty Fisher Cats! I love this photo because it really shows the beautiful colors the turkeys have...and also the 'beard' that the males have. I felt one and it actually feels very coarse like horse hair...very strange! Nice capture!!!
