Description
Far off in the reaches of our universe lies a planet of wonders. The medium-sized planet is a brilliant blue with vast seas. appearing on the dark side of the planet the telescope finds what appears to be lights. we can only dream of what this new place hides four thousand light years away...

This is really nice...I love a good piece of space art, whether it's realistic or wholly dream-like. The blue in this is really fantastic and I love those clouds sitting nicely off by themselves. I also like the reference this makes, at least visually, to the old-school style of special effects, epitomized by the classic Star Trek before the episodes were digitally retouched. This image reminds me of that in many ways and I can almost hear Alexander Courage music playing in the background. This is really nice.
