Yes! I'm always amazed how fast the days seem to lengthen in January. This is a lovely render. We finally got our snow last evening--6 to 8 inches worth. We may get more until tomorrow. Won't last long around here, though.

A great composition, Ulla. It is nice when the snow receeds, although very often it takes weeks to get rid of the snow and ice. Your scene shows clean, non-unban snow. Lovely to look at, and not an obstacle to getting to work .. ;o) Warm regards, from an icy but now raining Glasgow, John.

this reminds me of a great story i read once about a musician who stumbles upon a party where the music and dancing helps the sun renew itself for the year. the colors i imagined outside, before the party, and the cold snowy ground, were just like this.
