Yes, I know. An odd title, but I could squeeze any other out of my mind. This is made with an acrylic sketch, a couple of photos and other little fiddles. If this is your idea of urban, then I WANT to live there! This is really creative and wonderful work. The colors are so warm and soft, and I love those tree branches. It looks as if you're looking at a part of a very nice city from inside of a park. Maybe near a river or a small lake? The colors make me think of sunset, and for some reason I find that to be very romantic. I look at this--and look again--and I can imagine all sorts of stories to go with this. Maybe there is a story about each window in each building--happy stories, sad stories, funny stories, quiet stories, adventures, mysteries, everything. I love it when artwork makes me think of things like that. Oh, and I have to say that this would be a beautiful book cover!
