Nice job on the wake!

Nice detail on model, but the weather deck texture is needing to be corrected. All the Iowa Class battleships, right up to their de-commissioning in the 1980s & 90s, had teak wood weather decks. Also, there is still some need for work on the water. Too uniform, looks obvious that it is CG generated, as does the stern wake.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to work on my water. Can't take credit for the model, or even the texturing, but I will say that the blue weather decks are accurate for the Measure 22 camoufage depicted. The measure called for all horizontal surfaces to be painted "Deck Blue," including wooden decks on all ships except submarines and carriers. According to information from the Naval Historical Center, Missouri wore this scheme following a refit in Nov-Dec 1944.
