Description
Captured 12/27/10, this time on an early sunny morning in my beloved Holifield Park, situated within walking distance of my daunting domicile.

Park maintenance has since raked up the leaves since I snapped this.
I have oodles of similar shots, but am restricting it to just one pic this time, in lieu of posting a collage. But one of those next time for sure.

I can never resist traipsing through leaves like this, yes even at my age, just to hear the lovely crunchie sound they make. A super capture with great lighting and shadow.

A very nice picture of early winter, the trees have lost their leaves and sunlight slipping through the branches to light the carpet plant and activate their degradation! Very bright.

Lovely shot. There was a brief time when my yard was littered in leaves from my Green Ash tree, and I took numerous shots....but have failed to upload any yet.

Nicely done...one of the few trees I can readily identify appears to be the culprit here...a Sycamore. Had one in our front yard when I was a boy and I climbed it almost daily for years:)
