Description


This is St Mary's church in Chard. You see here the bell tower which contains 8 bells that ring out, on Sundays, to call the good folk to services, for weddings and some evenings for practice. the clock also chimes out on every quarter of the hour and has a range of hymns which it plays on the 8 bells, one which comes to mind is 'All things bright and beautiful'. This however is turned off overnight!
