In heavy winter conditions, the “big” birds are visiting the feeders, chasing sparrows and tits:

On dirait qu'il est là juste our chasser les autres. Il n'a pas l'air d'avoir très faim. Cela dit, il est très beau.

What type of food do you have in those tubular feeders? (where the woodpecker and jay are) .. Nuts of some kind? I keep my birds spoiled throughout the winter here; feel so sorry for them, to have to put up with our cold.
