Im not convinced, that looks like a baloon to me. Or perhaps a part fell off of an airplane and got lodged in the side of the cliff. Because as everyone knows, we are the only living organic form of life in all the vastness of an infinite number of galaxies and solar systems. So therefore that could not be an object that flies thats unidentified.

An impressive and convincing scene!! Even if I personally do not believe in such meteorological balloons! ;)

It's um, the swamp gas refracting the light of Venus, or something... Sorry, can't resist the Men in Black bit. Anyway, this is really cool! You did a great job of making the render look realistic, and then a great job of merging the two together. Superb work!

There is an incongruence where the edge of the "thing" melts with the rocks, it seems an Escher-ism. The clouds can be seen through the "thing", is it half-transparent?

Now THAT was a hard landing! I doubt anyone walked away from that one... Brilliant bit of work, Tony. Absolutely amazing how you melded the rendered bit with the scenery. No one can do it like you can. Bravo!

The only thing that doesn't work for me is the underside of the ship. It looks like it is reflecting the sky rather than the ground, which kinda defies the laws of perspective. Other than that, nice composition.

Looks like a photo! Must be made of very durable materials. Its funny what can really "make" a picture for a viewer. In this case, I love that little tree just beneath it to the left.
