Description

I have watched a lot fantasy movies with dragons these days, some of them were beyond cuteness and just so nice to enjoy, that I have gotten a lot of inspiration. The main idea here was to create a scene with a cute little dragon and his protector, a very skilled lady with nasty weapons ready to split the head of all dragon slayers around the world. character face in ZBrush, textures (girl, clothes, dragon...) in photoshop light coming from a new HDR set that will be released in the future. Oh, yes, something very special about her face that, indeed, conveys determination. A dragon protector? Ah, now I see the hatchling--but it's really secondary to the sense of resolve you've created in her expression and pose. Your IBL totally captures the feeling of a clear Autumn afternoon! Bravo!

Where to start?? The way the DOF is achieved is superb. Posing - superb! Expression - superb! Feeling of atmosphere - superb! Can you see where I'm going with this? I imagine you were inspired by "How To Train Your Dragon"? Great work here. I particularly like the inclusion of the leaves blowing in the wing. Adds a nice extra "something".
