My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Beautifully presented duel image. Did you know, the Chinese believe that if you give a water lily to the one you love, you can be with her forever...? Wonder what happens if you give her/him two of them? :)

I love seeing a series in reverse; it establishes a kind of nicely dyslexic narrative that is strangely...well...not too different than the narrative you'd get forward, if it's one of those wordless narrative thingies that artists are so good at doing. I really like the contrasts between your trio shot and this one...this has a nice, fiery intensity to it that works wonderfully. I'm also reminded of pomegranates for some reason. I think it's the overall color and the way that orange hue reads as nicely succulent when working in concert with the reds. This is gorgeous.
