Description

6 etchings/aquatints. The first 5 were on zinc plate, only around 6" wide. The last one was steel plate, much bigger and the plate was cut into three after the work was complete, the idea was to split the textures. This last one I worked on further and silk screened a map of the area ontop of the etching/aquatint.

I don't browse Renderosity much, due to my slow connection. but I'm glad I've found your gallery. your technique on metal etching isn't revolutionary, yet there are so many personal expressive elements that your style is distinctive. I stood here admiring the church for more than 5 minutes before I got psyched enough to write this comment :)
