Description
Yesterday I was down at Hat Rock again taking pictures and I was just leaving when this beautiful bald eagle landed in a tree across the pond. Well I had to try and get him. I got about half of the way to him when he took off across the Columbia River headed to the Washington side of the river. Now I had my zoom all the way out. And my zoom goes up to a 500 mm so the view in the view finder was very small, I had my eye to the camera going everywhere to try and find him and when I finally did he was so far away I didn’t think I would get any kind of picture at all. It was in my view finder for just a second and I snapped the shot off. So this may not be the best bald eagle shot but I am so proud of it because of how hard and how far away he was. I think he came out pretty good. I know he will be back again another day on this site with a poem right beside him. I hope you like him too
