Description
Giganotosaurus carolinii is a genus of carcharodontosaurid dinosaur that lived around 100 to 97 million years ago during the early Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous Period. It is one of the largest known terrestrial carnivores, larger than Tyrannosaurus. Its fossils have been found in Argentina.
The name means "giant southern lizard". Giganotosaurus measured up to 14 m (45 ft) in length, and 13.3 tons in weight. It was larger than Tyrannosaurus, but had a brain only about half as big as those of tyrannosaurids.

You don't need so much brain with a mouth like this! (The same with some humans, hehe) Fantastic modeling and a really nice scene!!!

"Oh, my, this gives me an inferiority complex. Thanks for at least saying I have more brains than that killer guy!" - T.Rex Thanks for another excellent picture, even though it bumps me from the "tyrant's" throne! Keep u the good work! :-)

Hey, I work with a guy like that. He's much bigger and stronger than the rest of us but the lights aren't always on. But size does matter lol

Nicely done...Very nice. Giganotosaurus is not 13 tonnes. It was like 8 tonnes or so.It is slightly larger than T.Rex.Eventhough the new estimates for T.Rex is 10 tonnes.
