Description

to feel the chill of steel against skin the heat of flame the fire within he is here in my eyes..... I sat last night, my wife opposite me on another machine and said "I am still blown away by this technology!" and yes......I am! I once airbrush illustrated and an image like this could take days of sketching, masking, dusting in colours, more masking, fine brush work and then done! I spent 45 minutes on this last night setting it up for a render and then 20 minutes of postwork this morning..... Rendering Rocks! I hope you are all fine and dandy Carl

This is absolutely fantastic - one of the most incredible works I've seen here, seriously.. There's a lot of great art on this site, but this is above and beyond. Wow! You bring back memories - I used to airbrush myself. Just playing mostly, never got to a stage where I could consider it even close to some of the greats. But I do remember the long process with sketches, light boxes, frisket, and X-acto knives. Not to mention the cleanup afterwards and God knows what kind of things I was breathing while spraying... Anyway, this is a magnificent piece!

exceptional PoV, I think G. Tiepolo would give a nodding acknowledgement to both the PoV and lighting, great work

And you are so good to be able to set it up so quickly. The composition in this is just exceptional, wonderful spirals here, love the addition of the horse and the ring of fire, the spread of the wings. Sinewy line of dragon. That character is very well done, victory seems nearly in his grasp as he is in the heat of battle. You are amazing, my friend. Delaney

Great combination of characters, I love the way you've put the horse and dragon together. The technology is wonderful, it's so forgiving, unlike, say, watercolors!
