Description

I shot this today, just experimenting with my new Fuji HS10 on full zoom = 720mm lens. The focus isn't great as I didn't have my tripod, but I think I got lucky and it's not bad for an auto hand held shot at such great distance, considering it was very windy! I then tweaked the shadow tonal curve, and finished it as a nice duotone. I've only had the HS10 for a week, and it's proving a truly amazing camera, and I'm so glad I chose it instead of a DSLR. There doesn't seem to be anything it can't do that I want to do.

Nice shot! I love water flowing over rocks and you captured a great moment here! This reminds me of the rocky shores here in New Hampshire and those we've seen in Maine...love the sound of waves crashing on the rocks!

I'd love to see what it can do on a tripod! Any more shots coming?
