Description

Snow from the alps is melting and flows through our rivers to the sea; the waterlevel is very high at the moment in the Netherlands, but, because we are a "water-country".. there's no direct danger ( all our dikes were made higher in the last 5 years) you see the city Arnhem panorame stiched together in psp please use the zoom for way better view thanx !

Must be worrying when most of your country is below sea level. So much water in the world at the moment.

An excellent capture of all this water. I'm glad the banks are holding and that you haven't got flooding.

The picture is so seamlessly joined, and such a fantastic panorama. It is beautiful, but after reading what you wrote, I am not so sure. It is frightening that the snows in the Alps are melting in the winter! What is even stranger is that here, there hasn't been anything on the news! To me, that is a monumental event! Who ever heard of snow in the mountains melting in the winter! I am glad that your country has had the foresight to raise the dikes. Here, there would be discussions, and comittees to research the effect on the environment, and more discussions, and more comittees doing more research, and 40 years later, it might be in the planning stages.

Schitterend panorama.
