Description

This was supposed to be the final image of the story.. called "exile".. but when .. after many hours of rendering.. I saw the result.. I was so pleased by it that I made an extra image for tomorrow
What we see is Goliath going in exile.. But what I also wanted to show was a desolate world.. In my mind it was from the start a look down from above image.. but originally I had a sea in mind with a lonely ship waiting.. while working on the sea. it seemed a bit dull .. True.. "empty and desolate".. but I decided to make a little town in the distance on a different shore.. this slowly grew into this "town-without-hope".. A river lost it's water a long time ago when sand from above kept blowing in.. the old harbor became shallow and a new one had to be created.. No longer connected to the river but only by the sea.. filling it with it's water with high tide.. but when the walls on the hill broke down over time, sand blew into this new harbor too.. and the city got abandoned.. as it became the "town-without-hope".. a ghosttown
Some might expected blood at the end of the story, others a kiss.. but this is a more open end.... Have a good week..
Ps.. I love it when the PC screams for mercy.. it was a 17h render.. the render for Wednessday.. currently running is already past that.. at 18 hours and half way.. Me.. jumping into bed now.. 7.05 in the morning. Time to get some sleep ..

Wonderful work and I think a great way to 'end' this story but leave it open for future contact. Most excellent work, Chris

"If you must walk - then WALK!" At least he has been shown clemency and is able to leave with his head.

Chris this is a fantastic image and I'm so glad you decided to save it for now. You were smart in choosing the town as it really does illustrate desperation perfectly.

Excellent POV! Yup, as I said before, Goliath will end up sweeping out some pub in a far off land, unknown, unwanted, and no longer remembered. For him, a living death.
