Thank you, hmatienzo. The tears were rolling as I was creating this one... and I only hope that everyone who sees it will give their pets some extra hugs. I've just about worn out my welcome with my own critters here tonight... they see me coming down the hall and they run for cover! I can almost hear them thinking, "Oh-oh... here comes the hugger again!" ;-)

Oh my God this is so sad! It is a beautiful picture that speaks of the love that our pets have for us also. My husband and I have two cats that were abandoned..and after seeing your artwork I gave them lots of hugs and pets.

You express those sad feelings very well, a really touching image.

This is a gorgeous image that says more about our society's sometimes unspeakable behaviour to animals, particularly cats, than anything I have ever seen or read since James Harriots heartrending tales of abandoned and abuses animals. I've fostered a few abandoned animals over the long period of my life the last being a wonderful Abbysinian who someone threw out. I can just see her like this. Thanks again.

Very touching picture..I also have run an adoption agency for kittens..and fed feral cats.its a crime the way people sometimes neglect animals..this picture tells it all in its sorrow and great emotional impact..You have touched all who look at it..My own lovely black double pawed cat Cougar was abandoned by someone who could no longer care for him..hes been such a wonderful cat to have...so friendly and charming..

Marvelous image full of sadness..and makes us all take a look..our dear departed pets still mean so much to us..we dont realize until they are gone.

You realy struck a chord. Animals have a way of touching us emotionaly. And that makes there neglect or abuse that much more unfathomable. In the past I have done charity work for an orginization called Love and Let Live, volunteers care for animals in there homes until they can be adopted so as to prevent them from being put down. I wish there were more orgizations like that especialy at this time of year.
